Not Giving Up.

What a waste of a week. Two good days and then crap 5 days. Or could even be more. Anyway I am not going to make excuses. I refuse to make excuses for my being overweight. I eat too much crap. Pity I like the way it tastes. But I do remember saying some 4.5 years ago that nothing tastes as good as being thin feels. Seems I have lost my way somewhat.

Today's weight. 107.1kg-107.9kg. I need to weigh only once. Once a day. Once a week. So that means weigh in only once a week. Stand on the scales only once.

This morning I cooked boiled eggs for breakfast. I suck at boiling eggs. Ruined 4 before I got it a little bit right. The whites were still clear. Yukky. I had one piece of toast. With butter. Will get a sandich for lunch.

HHMM. Still not back at work full time. Going to the pool for school swimming and swim club only. There are still a couple of problems at the pool that Council need to fix. As the schools and swim club have their own insurance thats cool but as for swimming for the public, it cant happen as I am not prepared to take the risk as I pay the liability insurance.

Oh we had a visit from Cyclone Ului early sunday morning. It was pretty hairy for a while and there are shitloads of trees down around town. And my favourite tree at the pool has gone to tree heaven as well. I have almost shed a tear at the loss of this tree. It was tree perfection. But apart from that we have suffered no damage to our house. It was an experience to be sure.

So here's to not giving up today and making good and healthy food choices for 24 hours.

Stay @ Home Tuesday.

Day 2. 107.7kg. So down a little on yesterday. Can I follow through today? Fingers crossed.

I have scored a few days off work this week although I am not very happy about it. You see I run the local Council swimming pool. They pay me a small retainer and I run the pool as a business. I have had an ongoing safety issues at the pool since before Christmas. i have reported it many times and nothing has been done. I wa shopeing to get my learn to swim lessons finished this week and then pull rank on the Council and get them to do the job. But I recieved a phone call yesterday telling me that the pool would be drained and that the issue was being seen to. That means I had many many phone calls to make cancelling swimming lessons this week and schools to ring. Considering that at this time of year I rely on school swimming for income I am not impressed. I will be passing on my loss of income to Council to reimburse me. I really wish I had insisted back in December when the problem first occured. At least i wouldnt have had to put the schools and swimming lessons on hold.

I have my folding and ironing up to date washing for today almost done. Lunch with hubby and friends. Might do some baking this afternoon as well.

All in all things are good. Fingers crossed for another good day today.

42 and FAT!!


Wowser's I stepped on the scales this morning and I am very sorry for the scales. Having had me stand on them. 108.7kg. Fucking huge.

If I don't do something now I may as well kiss what is left of my life goodbye. I puff doing the littlest things. And I mean just getting up and going to the toilet. In saying that why did I just have not 1 but 2 sausage rolls for breakfast. And not just plain sausage rolls but sausage rolls with peas. Fuck me. Thats arouns 800cals right there.


So I am going to use http://www.calorieking.com.au to help me lose weight. I have used them before and I will use them again.


I lost 24kg in 2005-2006 taking me back to 80kg. My lowest ever adult weight. The thing is who loses 24kg and then gains it all plus an extra 4kg on top of that. The thing is that I didn't find it difficult to lose 24 kg. I was always amazed that I found it so easy.
We all know there is no fast tracking permanent weight loss. There is no magic pill. We need to drink water and track our calories. Weigh our food. I am also going to try and cut right vack on Pepsi max. I have earlier this year cut the pepsi out completley and I know I can do it again.
I am going to take one day, one hour, one minute at a time.
